Our Services
At Howbury Tumblers, every session is designed to help little ones learn, play, and grow in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Our activities are planned around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and are suitable for babies, toddlers, and children under five.
We have a toy & book bank in the entrance lobby - Please take whatever you want - we also accept donations of clean, intact books, toys and games for under 5's
Daily Play Sessions
We run two sessions every weekday during term time:
Morning: 9:30am – 11:45 pm
Afternoon: 12:15pm – 2:15pm
You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like.
Each session is packed with opportunities for your child to explore, discover, and build confidence while making new friends.

What We Offer

Fun and engaging toys, books, and activities designed to spark curiosity and support every stage of early development.
Daily creative and sensory activities
Hands-on art, craft- and sometimes cooking- and sensory play that encourage creativity, imagination, and develop practical skills, confidence and independence
Singing, dancing, and instrument time
Music sessions full of songs, dancing, and instruments to build confidence, language skills, social skills , communication and physical development
Safe indoor and outdoor play areas
Bright, secure spaces indoors and a safe outdoor garden for active play, exploration, and fresh air.
Welcoming and experienced staff
A caring team of trained staff who create a warm, supportive environment for children and families.
Dedicated baby-friendly spaces
Specially designed areas with age-appropriate toys and equipment for our youngest little ones to play safely.
A Warm Welcome
Everyone is welcomed at Tumblers, including parents, carers, and childminders. Facilities include adult and children’s toilets, baby changing units, and an accessible toilet.
Children’s Activities
Daily creative and sensory experiences encourage learning through play. Activities are inclusive for all ages and abilities, with a wide range of equipment and experiences indoors- and outdoor resources such as a mud kitchen, water play ( weather permitting) music wall, builders yard, water wall and climbing equipment, in our secure garden.
Babies
Babies of all ages are welcome, with safe spaces, play resources, and help with feeding and warming food. We love to do hand and footprint painting with your little ones !.
Parents & Carers
A supportive, friendly environment for parents and carers to relax, connect, and seek advice. Staff are always available for a listening ear and to help build community friendships.
Refreshments
Affordable hot and cold drinks and snacks are available, and of course access to water. Snacks / Packed lunches are welcome, with tables and highchairs provided in the designated area.
